Rose Bay Public School 2025 Enrolment Tours

Tours for Kindergarten 2025 and other 2025 enrolments are available via email request. Please email the office at rosebay-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au to organise your tour. 

Kindergarten 2026 Tours

Tours for Kindergarten 2026 are on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday February 18 @ 4pm
  • Thursday February 27 @ 10am
  • Tuesday March 4 @ 4pm
  • Thursday March 13 @ 10am
  • Tuesday March 18 @ 10am
  • Thursday March 27 @ 4pm
  • Thursday April 3 @ 10am

Wednesday 22 October 2025 - Teddy Bear's Orientation Picnic
Mondays October 27 & November 3 - Group A Transition Mornings                                                                Wednesdays October 29 & November 5 - Group B Transition Mornings

When can my child start kindergarten?

Your child can start kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn five on or before 31 July in that year. By law, all children must be enrolled in school by their sixth birthday.

Students starting kindergarten in 2025 are born on or between 01/08/2019 and 31/07/2020.  

Students starting kindergarten in 2026 are born on or between 01/08/2020 and 31/07/2021.

Local enrolment area

Most schools have designated local enrolment areas.  The School Finder shows our local enrolment area.  Note: local enrolment areas are subject to change.

How to enrol

You're welcome to contact us when you're ready to enrol your child in our school.  You may need to attend an interview with the principal.  There you can discuss any medical conditions or other special circumstances before your child starts school.  We may also complete a risk assessment on the enrolment.

Our new online enrolment process makes it easier and faster to enrol your child at your local school.

To apply online, you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident

  • live in the local enrolment area of this school.

Uniform Orders

For information about ordering uniform please visit our uniform shop for full details. 

Non-local enrolments

As outlined in the department's enrolment policy, our school may accept enrolments from outside our local enrolment area if places are available.

We will assess applications for non-local enrolment on a case-by-case basis.
